When my cat was diagnosed with Feline Asthma, inhaler therapy was recommended and my vet loaned me a pediatric mask and chamber to try. The mask was too big, it encompassed the whole of my cat's face, his eyes as well, which is probably more scary and als not ideal because we don't want medication getting in the eyes. The mask also did not have a good fit so even if my cat took a breath in it there was no real airflow in or out the chamber. Babies and cats just don't have the same shape to their face! Luckily I discovered AeroKat, it comes with two sizes of mask, and the shape is so much better suited to a cat's nose. I could immediately see how it was less scary and easy to use, which helped with my motivation to take the time to train my cat. With the AeroKat device I could finally make progress in getting my shy scaredy cat accepting the whole inhaler process and my cat is now happy to come get his inhaler therapy every morning!
